I’ve been extremely sick for the past couple weeks and it has really cut deeply into the blog. I apologize for the lack of posts. I’m climbing back into cockpit slowly and will get the posting frequency back up as well.
Above is a game mockup I made based off a new engine a friend is working on. The visual style and palette is directly ripped from this piece by a pixeljoint artist going under the name of Mykola. The game itself a platformer in which the direction of gravity is affected by the angle of the platform below the player. This could allow for levels to twist to any angle and go ‘upside down’. The protagonist is a low rider with bouncy hydraulic suspension, allowing it to jump over gaps and perform aerial stunts.
