Andrew Loomis, Fun With a Pencil

I dug up an old book on basic cartoon illustration from 1939.  It’s been quite helpful for me in drawing characters and making them look more natural.  I think it’s because it breaks anatomy down to the most basic elements, and helps exaggerate proportions.  The style is obviously retro for today, but it still holds a warmth that has aged well.
