Chris Geehan gave me a nice surprise with these rough piano tracks for The Salvage. I think it’s fantastic they’re going through the hassle of recording and mixing live instruments for this project, and I love the atmosphere coming out of this single instrument already. I think some synthetic sounds will play into this nicely as well, to help shift the mood in different directions.
